Mr Bass's successor has finally arrived after the long wait.
It grandly arrived during one of the December holidays guitar prac.
It weighs much heavier than old Mr Bass.
Looks much younger than old Mr Bass.
And has a much B-E-AUtiful skin colour than old Mr Bass.
Hailong is Jason's successor.

We are in the process of learning a new song.
"A walk in the woods"
It's a pretty cool song.
I thought it was going to be a cheena pok song.
But I was wrong! Indeed, the introduction was cheena pok, where I could imagine the palace and the royalties, the dancing, the garden, butterflies etc.
But all of a sudden, the music changes it turns modern.
But that's all I know. Because we are not done with the song yet and MAYBE, it's still a cheena pok song.
Mr Shi even got a special whistle for Hailong, it can blow out different patterns of bird chirping based on the amount of air you blow into it.

FRIDAY 18/01/08
leaves a whooping memory!
It's the day of guitar orientation and it was fun, fun, fun!
Although I must say that ice breaking games were a flop!
But who cares! Just remember the happy ones and not the zzz ones! x)
Guitar was split into two individual group to play in different games.
The two games are "Guitar & Ensemble" and "Move around"
For the two games, the already split-into-two guitar groups will be splitted up again to form opponent teams.
I guess everyone had fun! There were many screams and cheers which was what i thought the most assuring sounds of success!
Though there were a couple of grumbles and complaints at first, but later on everyone were just having fun and cheering each other on.
Special thanks to Edison, Xiangyi, Geraldine and weiwei.
They came back to visit but helped us carry chairs down from guitar room to our game venue.
Secial thanks to germainelok, weiwei, edison, weepeng for adding to the screams and atmosphere and helping us fill water bombs, splashing people and also cleaning up the OMG FREAKING DIRTY AND SMELLY chairs after the games officially ended.
Thanks to weiwei for bringing the many tidbits (im not sure if there were other people who contributed but thankyou! if you had. =D)
haha besides cleaning the chairs we even used my hair shampoo to wash it again. so that it won't stink up guitar room! haha it was fun.
Thanks to all that stayed back to help clean up and wash the chairs etc.
wanting, waiping, claralee, sheauling, delphine, clarakoh, elizabeth, joy, weixiang, naomi, claire, anita, yannis and anyone else if I didn't mention (by accident)
Thanks to Naomi, Yannis, Cheryl Teng and Clarakoh for being good games leader.
Thanks to Sheauling, joy, delphine, elizabeth for booking the food.
Thanks to alicia, anita and mavis for buying ice and buying EXTRA bee hoon.
Not to forget, a BIGBIG thankyou to OUR DEAR GUITAR ENSEMBLE for their active participation and spontaneous spirit in the various games.
*Your enthusiasm was very much appreciated!
To end, another thankyou to those that were unable to play in the water games but were patient in watching us play, fill up buckets and keeping watches, specs etc dry; hsiao woon, germainekok, sarah(sec one).
And those who actually couldn't play but got wet afterall.
And also to Crystal Pay Tien Ning for her whooping participation in the WATER games though she was wearing a UNIFORM BLOUSE.

The school is cheapo and biased.
Lets go on strike!
Whoever heard of only a quota of 12 people for a GUITAR ENSEMBLE?!
OH COME ON, WE EARNED YOU A GOLD WITH HONOURS, GIVE US SOME FACE CANNNNN! :(
The system is so spastic, but anyway thanks to the seniors they fought for quota and managed to pull in 17 people haha!
The school is cheapo and biased.
They don't let us have our own guitar concert, they want us to have it in the main school hall.
Whoever heard of a Guitar concert held in an OPEN AREA HALL?
OH COME ON, WE PLAY SOFT MUSIC, WE NEED SOME HALL WHICH IS ENCLOSED TO MAKE OUR MUSIC SOUND GOOD CANNNNN! :(
P.S. Please don't tell us that you are going to give us TOWER HALL! I know it's pretty enclosed, but NOOOOOOO!! You promised! -VJC Auditorium! (or whatever)

She wants to prove that since the school looks down on us, we will have to show that we can do it though we are small ccas, not like UNIFORM GROUP AND CHOIR!~ So WE SHALL SHOW HER! (DOG-THE NOOB)
UNITY IS STRENGTH!
SOCIAL COHESION!
LETS BUILD A NATION AMONG THE THREE CCAS.
LETS HAVE GOVERNMENT AND STATE
(sorry, i just learnt all these in SS so i JUST HAVE TO SAY IT! xD)
But I really do think it's time ot show the school that we can do it. They are always putting us down.

Had the new sec ones coming in to guitar room to check it out. STILL NOT RESPONSIVE. we waved them goodbye and most of them didn't wave back. Is it that hard? NEVERMIND LET US TRY TO MOVE THEM WITH OUR WARMNESS?!
